Movies I highly recommend for the great storytelling done in them:
1) "Baran"
2) "Color of Paradise"
3) "The Runner"
4) "The Circle"
Any comments?
Also, has anyone seen "The Other Half" (for which the director was jailed for a short time), "Under the Skin of the City," or "Smell of Camphor, Fragrance of Jasmine" I haven't been able to rent either one.

Wed, July 26, 2006 - 3:34 PMI'll bump this old post back up to ask everyone if y'all have heard any updates on Majid Majidhi's work (director of Baran, Children of Heaven, Color of Paradise). I love his films and am wondering if he has been working on anything new.
